Webcomics: Labor Day Cute Edition
As I have been writing about my favourite webcomics, and have been showcasing a few webcomics each post. You can find my previous reviews here:
Now, for today’s post I thought long and hard what comics deserved my Labour Day celebration post. With that said, I have decided to review one single webcomic. It is a fairly new comic and only a few pages have been published, but EVERY single panel is absolutely adorable! I figure with the first week of school beginning, a family-friendly comic is in order!
The artist is Katie Cook, who’s artwork is the epitome of cute! Her webcomic is called Gronk: A monster’s story. This comic is about a cute little monster named Gronk, who is too loveable and sweet to continue living in the harsh world of mean and rough monsters. She runs away, only to meet her new family. An awesome woman named Dale, her fluffy Newfoundland puppy with a heart of gold and the weight of a lion, and her squee-worthy kitten, all become a part of Gronk’s new family unit, where Gronk learns to live in a world of acceptance, love and great movies.
I won’t go giving you any more spoilers, since there are only a few pages so far. If you like cute, adorable and just plain happy plot-line that are safe for the whole family, and can make almost anyone feel like they are enveloped in a blanket of cuddly warm happiness, you will want to read Gronk!
Rating: 10/10
Enjoy! Have a happy September ahead of you!

SPOILER:
My favourite part so far, has to be the very first panel. It is simple, in black and white, with clean lines. It introduces Gronk, our loveable main character, and just makes you fall in love with her!
